Simone is a fine avian watercolor artist as well as a professional accredited floral designer. I currently reside in Asheville, North Carolina with my husband John (recently retired commercial airline captain) and a loving chocolate lab, Marley. For the last four years, I have been a studio artist with Art MoB Studios in Hendersonville.

Influenced by my extensive background in floral design, which is true to life, my avian art is more whimsical and ethereal, yet, representative of the actual creature. My signature technique involves the use of splattering to create motion within the work. Although most of my subjects are currently song birds, I have expanded my repertoire to include shore birds and waterfowl.
