Originally from northern New York, I started my hobby in 1992 when we retired from Bradenton, FL. The mobile home park we moved into had a fantastic wood shop and I picked up skills from the other members there.

In 2002 we moved to Hendersonville, NC where I built a shop and continued making wooden gifts. I also belong to a woodworking club, "Apple Country Woodworkers" here in Hendersonville where we make toys for children for Christmas.
