Susan O’Connell is a fine artist based in Hendersonville, North Carolina, creaing vibrant landscapes and expressive portraits in oil, acrylic, and pastel. Originally from Detroit, childhood visits to the Detroit Institute of Arts fed her dream of becoming an artist. After earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Paining and Drawing, Drawn to the mountains and the creative energy of Western North Carolina, Susan relocated in 2023 and now paints fulltime.
