Sharon loves wool and color and has been making fiber art for over 25 years. Her wool is hand-dyed to create projects for her and her students. She has been a nationally certified teacher of rug hooking art through Pearl McGown Guild since 2000 and has taught classes at Blue Ridge Community College and at southeastern workshops.
Most recently, Sharon is demonstrating her fiber art at the Biltmore Estate and is a member of ArtMob. She has been officers in two local guilds and is a member of Heritage Weavers and Fiber Artists and the Art League of Henderson County
