Award winning artist Diane Dean, works in heavily textured acrylic on canvas. Though she has been painting for over twenty years, she spent much of her professional life in the graphic arts technology field. Throughout her career, Diane has presented seminars and lectures in graphic design concepts, color theory and the use of technology in the development of visual communications.

Her work was recently featured on the cover of the Asheville Laurel, in feature stories in "Bold Life" and "Asheville Made," in a recent exhibit at the Asheville Regional Airport and at Mission Hospital Asheville.  A segment on HGTV's "That's Clever" series also featured her in a live demonstration.
